Patty Lloyd Barnas has been a banker in the Lansing community for 27 years.  After spending 25 years with Fifth Third Bank, she joined locally owned Capitol National Bank in 2007.    As a Senior Vice President in their Commercial Loan Department, Patty manages their newly formed Healthcare and Private Banking divisions.

Her team consists of 2 experienced lenders, Katie Korpi and Jennifer Marsh.   This talented group of Private Bankers has expertise in serving the personal and business financial needs of the healthcare community.   They understand the unique requirements of healthcare professionals – your need to focus on serving patients and growing your practice.   The experienced team at Capitol National Bank can make life easier for you in many ways.   They will tailor programs to fit your needs from business deposit services to practice financing and personal investment strategies.   The Healthcare Division has also formed 2 advisory councils, a Healthcare Council, consisting primarily of practicing physicians and dentists and a Practice Managers Council, consisting of practice managers from the medical, dental and ophthalmology fields.  These advisors offer guidance and input to the division and Capitol National offers networking opportunities and educational events with a focus on relevant healthcare issues.

Barnas is very involved in the community currently serving on the Ele’s Place board, the advisory council for the Wharton Center for the Performing Arts at Michigan State University, the Arts Council of Greater Lansing board,  finance committee member for the Capitol Region Community Foundation and a star founder of  Women Working Wonders of the Sparrow Foundation.  She has a bachelor’s degree in management and organizational development from Spring Arbor University.
